Research - developing my front cover

I realised I had too much white space and needed graphics. I found this QW front cove and liked the way it is o busy and appealing for a younger TA.
There is very little white space.
It has:

• bright colours
• puff
• prop
• different fonts

I don't want to move my cover story line but i do need to add interesting features.

Features need to be exciting so people will buy the magazine.

I like the different fonts. They reflect the style of music.

I also need a PLUS!
I like the way the red is used in the headings. I could use black and gold or pick the red up off my model's tie.
